Bespoke Floating Oak Staircase.
This floating oak staircase is a perfect example of modern design and structural ingenuity. Each tread is crafted from solid oak, securely fitting over a metal frame, which is welded and bolted to the wall. The opposite end of the treads is suspended from a steel beam in the ceiling, supported by stainless steel rods for a sleek and minimalist look.
To ensure the rods could be tightened for stability and levelling, the underside of the stairs was designed with accessibility in mind. An oak cap was precisely housed into a rebate, allowing easy access to the rod bolts without compromising the staircase’s clean, seamless appearance.
This design combines both aesthetic beauty and practical engineering, resulting in a striking feature that enhances the space with its floating effect and natural warmth.
